As you can probably tell by now, I love to use quotes from the subject or recipient of these sessions. Not just to fluff my ego (though I’m not saying that’s bad…), but because I find it so rewarding to see how genuinely surprised these ladies are to see themselves looking so fantastically hot! My camera and I are a pretty good team, but we’re still just capturing what’s in front of us. It’s all about releasing that inner sexy!
I felt like I was old friends with “J” by the time we even had the session, we had talked so much. And met a couple of times. And talked some more. That certainly helped with her comfort level, along with a little wine
She was a hoot and had some hilarious ideas as well as some truly rad backup music. In a word: Prince!! And not even the artist formerly known as, it was the real deal baby. It’s definitely sessions like these that make me wonder how I ever lucked into this job.
